This project focuses on the development and enhancement of LINCE PLUS, a software tool for observational recording in sport. LINCE PLUS is a cross-platform software application for observational research on behaviour, developed in Java within a web-based environment.
LINCE PLUS is a project under continuous development. Its origins lie in the doctoral thesis of Alberto Soto, the main programmer of this application. The project has received financial support from the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia (INEFC), and has involved the participation of academic staff from INEFC (Oleguer Camerino, Marta Castañer and Xavier Iglesias) and the University of Barcelona (M. Teresa Anguera).
LINCE PLUS has also received additional funding, including the project “Integration of observational data and data from external sensors: Evolution of the LINCE PLUS software and development of a mobile application for the optimisation of sport and health-enhancing physical activity” (Spanish National Sports Council, EXP_74847).
