The Beijing Sports University (BSU) is the sponsoring institution to launch (January, 2019) the Journal of Science in Sport and Exercise (JSSE), a new English academic international, peer reviewed journal, encompassing all aspects of sport and physical activity. Prof. Hu Yang, Vice-President of BSU and an internationally known expert in the field, will serve as Editor-in-Chief. Dr. Steven J. Fleck, a reputed American researcher, will be the Executive Editor-in-Chief of the new journal.
Prof. Ferran A. Rodríguez (GRCE coordinator) has been appointed to be a member of the Editorial Board, together with other recognised Chinese and international academics and researchers. The Board celebrated its first meeting at BSU on June 9-10, 2018.
Original research, comprehensive reviews, and consensus statements related to all aspects of the response to sport participation, physical training, and a broad definition of physical activity are welcome to JSSE.
