The prestigious Beijing Sports University, one of the Worlds largest sports academic institutions with over 10,000 students, successfully organized the 6th edition of their renowned International Altitude/Hypoxia Symposium. Six international experts were invited to lecture in the meeting (from left to right in the picture: Ferran A. Rodríguez (INEFC, UB, Catalonia, Spain), Kazonobu Okazaki (Osaka City University, Japan), Carsten Lundby (University of Zurich, Switzerland), Raphaël Faiss (University of Lausanne, Switzerland), Robert Roach (University of Colorado, USA), Olivier Girard (Aspetar, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, Qatar).
The lecture presented by Prof. Rodríguez, GRCE member and coordinator, was entitled “Altitude training for sea-level performance in elite athletes: The Altitude Project”. Congratulations to Prof. Hu, vice-president of the BSU, and his team for the great success of this international event.
