The article “Acute administration of inorganic nitrate reduces VO2peak in endurance athletes”, authored by Raúl Bescós, Ferran A. Rodríguez, Xavier Iglesias, Miguel D. Ferrer, Elena Iborra, and Antoni Pons, has been published in the October 2011 issue of the journal Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (IF 3.707, Sports Sciences Q1, 2/72). The research was conducted by the INEFC-Barcelona Sport Sciences Research Group, in collaboration with the Research Group on Community Nutrition and Oxidative Stress of the University of the Balearic Islands, and the Angiology and Vascular Surgery Department of the Bellvitge University Hospital.
